Abstract

The article is devoted to the substantiation of the subject of history in the university and its objectives. According to the author, in the current conditions for the formation of a global peace, it is necessary to focus attention on teaching the discipline «History of Russia», which is an important factor in preserving the state sovereignty of the country. The content of the university’s history course should contribute to the formation of the national-state ideology of Russia.
