Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern organizational and pedagogical conditions for teaching history in Russian universities. It is proved that in the absence of conceptual bases of state policy in the field of historical education, the existing conditions for organizing the educational process put a teacher in an uncertain situation when he objectively can not perform his work systematically and qualitatively. The author believes that the teaching of Russian history should be standardized. He offers the civilizational approach as a scientific basis for implementing the basic didactic principles of history teaching.
