About the Journal
Omsk Scientific Bulletin is a scientific peer-reviewed journal aimed at publishing advanced scientific research in the sphere of mechanical engineering, power engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, photonics, instrumentation and communications. The journal is addressed to researchers, analysts and practitioners, as well as to readers who are interested in scientific studies on the journal's subjects.
The main purpose of the journal is to inform the scientific and technical community about fundamental and applied research; to discuss issues in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, power engineering, instrumentation and related spheres.
The objectives of the journal are:
- reflection of the results of scientific research, scientific-practical, experimental and innovative activities of domestic and foreign scientists, research workers;
- approbation of postgraduate students and applicants research;
- formation of open scientific polemics, contributing to the improvement of the quality of scientific research;
- ensuring effective research activities at the university, publicity and openness in the reflection of scientific problems of the university;
- carrying out effective expertise and publication of reviews of scientific ideas and works;
- publication of materials of scientific conferences and symposia.
Omsk Scientific Bulletin has been published since 1997 and is focused on priority areas of science, technology and engineering development. The journal is indexed in various databases and is included in the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission, in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the Candidate's or Doctor's degrees should be published in the following scientific specialties:

The system of peer review with the involvement of leading scientists of the industry provides quality control and scientific level of publications. The journal is published with a regularity of 4 issues per year. Publication in the journal is free of charge. The Editorial Board does not collect fees from authors for the preparation and publishing of materials.
