Propaganda and agitation activities of Social Revolutionaries in Kursk province in the late XIX–early XX century as a manifestation of political criminality

The annotation examines the forms of agitation and propaganda work of the Social revolutionaries in the Kursk province in the late XIX–early XX century, from the point of view of their relevance to criminally punishable acts. The urgency of the problem is due to the need to study regional aspects for a comprehensive study of the topic. To do this, the article analyzes the criminal legislation in force during this period in order to detect articles aimed at combating political agitation and propaganda. The paper presents an analysis of the main criminal laws, examines the grounds for bringing to criminal responsibility for the compilation, storage, reproduction, distribution of politically dangerous literature, making public speeches questioning the course implemented by the state. The agitation and propaganda activities of the Kursk Social revolutionaries have been studied, the necessary conclusions have been drawn.
