Abstract

The kinetic theory of gases methods has been used to evaluate the erosion DC arcjet tungsten electrodes. Argon is chosen as the process plasma gas. Estimation of the mass flow rate of tungsten due to erosion is performed as a result of determining the
gas temperature and the maximum flow rate of arcjet gases.
