The rotor pole tips have a shape resembling an arc of an ellipse. The simulation of the magnetic circuit of a synchronous machine is performed using the FEMM program. The optimization problem is solved using the coordinateby-coordinate descent method; for each coordinate axis, the minimum value of the objective function is determined by the dichotomy method. Permissible ranges of variation for the variable values, which define the dimensions of the rotor's structural elements, are considered as segment boundaries within the dichotomy method for each coordinate axis. The optimal size values of the permanent magnets and pole tips on the rotor, shaped as an elliptical arc for a four-pole machine, are calculated. The curves of the normal component of magnetic induction in the air gap of a synchronous machine with pole tips shaped as both a circular arc and an elliptical arc are compared. A mock-up of a four-pole electric machine with permanent magnets on the rotor is constructed, and the electromotive force curves of the stator winding at idle are obtained.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Харламов Виктор Васильевич, Москалев Юрий Владимирович, Милютин Алексей Юрьевич https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1887 Informative value of online monitoring of turbo generator technical condition parameters compared to visual inspection 2025-04-02T10:09:05+00:00 Igor Vladimirovich Yaroshenko i.v.yaroshenko@bk.ru Victoria Vladimirovna Nosenko vvnosenko@mail.ru Maria Sergeevna Altunina mariyaltunina@mail.ru Yuri Petrovich Aksenov diacsnew@list.ru
Measurements of partial discharge amplitudes and spectral analysis of vibration at different times and often by different people are poorly informative, which are accepted in the practice of turbine generator diagnostics. The information content is much higher when both discharges and vibrations are measured at the same point, this allows you to see both the synergy of “vibration phenomena and discharges” and the reverse synergy of “discharges and vibration phenomena”. And the analysis of the distribution of the magnetic field over the surface of the generator housing makes it possible to identify the result of the “operation” of the discharges and vibration. To determine their effect on tires and current-carrying elements of turbo generators the paper provides practical examples of determining defect zones using this method and confirming them during visual and instrumental inspection during repairs.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ярошенко Игорь Владимирович, Носенко Виктория Владимировна, Алтунина Мария Сергеевна, Аксенов Юрий Петрович https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1809 Investigation of the environmental impact on the capacity of overhead power lines 2025-04-22T04:54:14+00:00 Vladislav Aleksandrovich Krivolapov krivolapov_vladislav@mail.ru Stanislav Sergeyevich Girshin stansg@mail.ru Elena Vladimirovna Petrova evpetrova2000@yandex.ru Vladislav Aleksandrovich Deev vlad_deev@inbox.ru Vladislav Mikhaylovich Trotsenko troch_93@mail.ru Vladimir Nikolayevich Goryunov vladimirgoryunov2016@yandex.ru Mikhail Yuryevich Nikolayev onv@omgtu.ru
Due to the growing demand for electricity and the deterioration of existing infrastructure, overhead power lines in many cases are forced to operate at the limit of their thermal capabilities. This encourages engineers to increasingly pay attention to the consideration of weather factors affecting the temperature of conductors, using appropriate mathematical models. This makes it possible to quickly respond to changes in the thermal regime of the conductors. In this article, based on the equations of thermal balance, analytical expressions are derived for calculating the temperature of insulated and non-insulated wires of overhead power lines. The presented mathematical model is confirmed by comparison with the finite element method implemented in the Ansys software package. The study also included a comprehensive study of how ambient temperature, wind speed and atmospheric pressure affect the thermal state of the conductor.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Владислав Криволапов, Станислав Гиршин, Елена Петрова, Владислав Деев, Владислав Троценко, Владимир Горюнов https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1842 Application of artificial neural networks for saturation correction in current and voltage transformers 2025-04-16T08:30:31+00:00 Evgeny Aleksandrovich Temnikov EvgenTemnik@yandex.ru Konstantin Ivanovich Nikitin n-c-i@mail.ru
The article investigates the application of artificial neural networks for saturation correction in current and voltage transformers. Under saturation conditions, these transformers can distort signals, leading to the incorrect operation of measuring and protection devices. The use of artificial neural networks allows increasing accuracy in signal processing, thereby improving the reliability and safety of electric power systems. The paper describes methods for training neural networks using historical data, modeling transformer operation under various conditions, and developing algorithms for correcting distortions caused by saturation.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Темников Евгений Александрович, Никитин Константин Иванович https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1884 Study of elastoplastic deformations during static and dynamic interaction of two deformable solid bodies. The indenter consists of a cylindrical body with a pointed conical tip. Indenters and targets are fabricated from steel, duralumin, and brass. Through digitization of graphs representing the investigated relationships, interpolation formulas describing the distribution of elastic and plastic deformation energies within the contact zone are derived. At the points of connection between the connecting curve and the original curves, the smoothness order corresponds to the degrees of the original curves. Additional constraints can be imposed on the connecting curve, which frequently arise when addressing practical design challenges. Theorems establishing the necessary conditions for the existence of the connecting curve are proven. The capabilities of the proposed method are demonstrated by solving two problems: the smooth connection of two initially given Bezier curves and the smooth rounding of an interior corner formed by intersecting initially given Bezier curves. The solution to the second problem enables both symmetric and asymmetric rounding of corners formed by the intersection of non-straight lines, while maintaining a high degree of smoothness at the connection points. The influence of additional constraints on the connecting curve's shape is shown.

The proposed mathematical method is based on solving a system of linear equations, where the equations represent the derivative equality conditions at the connection points and at the points where additional constraints are applied. Bezier curves are treated as special cases of B-splines. The proposed method is applicable to both 2D and 3D scenarios.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Кривошеев Олег Викторович, Маврин Сергей Валентинович, Старкова Алина Сергеевна https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1817 Methodology for calculating the fractional content of dust after cleaning in cyclone-type dust collectors and its post-cleaning 2025-04-17T04:52:28+00:00 Vyacheslav Yuryevich Solomin v_solomin@mail.ru Lev Ottovich Shtripling v_solomin@mail.ru Vitaliy Yuryevich Solomin youjian@mail.ru
The problem with using cyclone dust collectors is the insufficient degree of cleaning of small dusts. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce sequential post-cleaning to meet the requirements of the MAC. Usually, the calculation of the residual dust concentration is carried out on average, which does not give a complete picture of the fractional content of dust after cleaning and increased breakthrough of small fractions. This article presents a method for calculating the fractional residual dust concentration for its sequential post-cleaning using an electrostatic precipitator.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Соломин Вячеслав Юрьевич, Штриплинг Лев Оттович, Соломин Виталий Юрьевич https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1857 Modeling of the wire electrical discharge machining process using the finite element method 2025-01-14T21:28:05+00:00 Nikolay Vladimirovich Bobkov bobkov-n@mail.ru Alexey Arkadyevich Fedorov aafedorov83@rambler.ru Nikita Sergeyevich Artemenko dickydick89@mail.ru
The paper proposes a methodology for modeling of wire-cut electrical discharge machining processes by finite element method. Using elementary development functions, a description of the transitional phases of modification in the process of existence is given. As a result of which, a conclusion is drawn about the inevitable obsolescence of the object as a result of the influence of natural factors. To offset the degradation of engineering facilities, it is necessary to initiate innovative processes aimed at adding value to the product. Innovation is based on a target vector or strategy that describes the operations and resources needed to achieve a planned result. To form a strategy for managing the development of a technological solution, it is proposed to use a modular method for analyzing quality indicators based on the study of situational, retrospective and predictive indicators described using three types of maps: innovation flow, technological gaps and frontiers. As a result of the construction of these maps, a comprehensive understanding is formed of the nature of technology improvement and the prospects for its development, implemented in several iterations.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Митягина Мария Николаевна, Мурашова Светлана Витальевна https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1992 HIL modeling of systems using the multipole filter 2025-06-20T08:59:18+00:00 Mikhail Nikolayevich Maksimov maksot.kfu@mail.ru Sofiya Mikhaylovna Maksimova sofiamaksimova.2003@mail.ru
The article proposes an interface (multipole filter) that provides stability of the semi-natural modelling of the initial systems when the fragments of the system are represented by N-poles connected with each other by high intensity loopback (HIL). Thus, the article considers a generalized radio-technical system as an initial system, which fragments are N-poles that exchange currents and voltages with each other at every simulation through the proposed interface (2xN-pole/filter). The stability analysis of the HIL modeling process is carried out by circuit theory methods and numerical methods of systems of linear algebraic equations solution. The method of the stabilizing filter parameters determination is demonstrated. At these parameters the filter is an ideal delay line, i.e. the amplitude-frequency response of the filter does not depend on frequency, and the phase-frequency response changes directly proportional to frequency with the proportionality coefficient as the delay time. The adequacy of the obtained theoretical results is illustrated by means of numerical modeling on threephase inverter parts. Moreover, the article assumes that since the filter, with the correct choice of parameters has unique characteristics, it is not only an ideal delay line, but also a pure delay filter, as its amplitude-frequency response is constant and equal to one, it would be called a multipole pure delay filter (mppd-filter).
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Максимов Михаил Николаевич, Максимова София Михайловна https://journals.omgtu.ru/index.php/onv/article/view/1894 Analysis of equipment for assessing radio product stability under external factors 2025-02-18T15:46:29+00:00 Anna Andreevna Egorova aa.egorova1609@omgau.org Larisa Grigorievna Varepo larisavarepo@yandex.ru
The development and manufacture of devices and products in the electrical, aviation, and military industries necessitate rigorous testing of finished products to ensure operability and the preservation of functional properties under various operating conditions. In the current environment, producing high-quality and reliable products is a primary objective for any manufacturing operation in Russia. Due to the departure of imported test equipment suppliers from the Russian market, domestic enterprises are compelled to seek alternative sources for the test equipment required to evaluate their products. This paper presents a comparative analysis of heat and humidity chambers from both domestic and foreign manufacturers. The problem is addressed through information analysis and data synthesis using a comparative methodology.
2025-06-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Егорова Анна Андреевна, Варепо Лариса Григорьевна
